Interactive discussion and debate

Following a highly successful inaugural event in 2023, the Second Annual Conference on Nature-based Solutions using Carbon and Biodiversity Credit Funding will be held at the University of Lincoln on 17th - 18th of July 2024.

The conference emphasises interactive discussion and debate through a series of panel sessions and the panel themes encompass a wide range of current topics relating to the design, regulation, financing, implementation and monitoring of carbon and biodiversity credit schemes. The conference website provides full details.

Academics working in the field are invited to contribute material for the panel discussions. Each panel is 90 minutes duration with 3-4 panellists. Panellists will be allocated 15 minutes to present their material, leaving approximately 45 minutes for moderated audience discussion. There will also be a Stories from the Field panel which will involve short (10 minute) presentations that showcase innovation and success in carbon and biodiversity credit schemes worldwide.

Those interested can submit a 100 word precis of their proposed contribution, including the preferred panel, to bio.credit.conference.lincoln@outlook.com no later than Tuesday 30th of April. All contributions will be reviewed and selected authors contacted by the 15th of May. All panellists are exempt from the conference general admission fee.
