On Monday 31st July, 25 representatives from the 17 Programme Partner organisations gathered at Queen Mary University London to plan Phase II of Integrating Finance and Biodiversity that will run from January 2024 until April 2026.
The goal was to identify questions that could be answered within the 27-month timeframe, and also deliver instantly usable outputs. There were lively and involved discussions throughout the day. These were skilfully recorded and distilled by the meeting facilitators from Countryscape.
By 4pm a draft framework was in place identifying outline themes and flagship initiatives that will now be explored and extended with existing and new finance sector, governmental and international partners, such that Phase II is truly co-designed and delivered.
