Scottish Nature Finance Pioneers will be hosting a Lunch and Learn webinar on January 9th. At this lunch and learn, the IFB Programme’s Dr. Hannah Rudman and Julia McCarthy will present three examples of biodiversity regeneration projects working with nature finance, including Lauriston Farm, Highlands Rewilding’s Beldorney Estate, and RSPB’s Glencripesdale Reserve, which range from urban to rural to remote.
The event will highlight how each project approached the first years of project planning and baselining, and the different financial mechanisms that supported these activities.
There will be presentations by representatives of each project on how they’ve approached their business models, community engagement and ecological data collection and will identify the common challenges and successes of the projects. Presentations will be followed by a Q&A session, and an open panel dialogue with project representatives.
