Members of the IFB Programme from the Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) are working with UK-based Botanical Gardens Conservation International preparing a large number of projects that will protect threatened tree species for the biodiversity credit market, expecting the first issuances before the end of the year.
The partnership was founded after QMUL and IFB researcher, Axel Rossberg, had been awarded£150,000 in funding from the Natural Environment Research Council to pursue such biodiversity credit transactions.
