0900    Welcome and opening remarks - IFB Programme Leader, Nick Isaac, and Domnica Radulescu, NERC.

0910     Snapshots – the six IFB Flagship and Theme leaders provide a snapshot of where we are, and where we are heading - Paul Brereton, Nicola Ranger, Richard Field, Franziska Schrodt, Jo Chamberlain, and Julia McCarthy.

1000     Sharing outputs – the work of the Knowledge Exchange Fellows - KE Fellows, Eun Kim and Dougal Fleming, share their experiences.

1020    EEDI within IFB – 6-minute video and anonymous poll

1100    Panel session – Research serving business - Ed Asseily (Zulu Ecosystems), Hannah Eskell (Aviva, IFB Business Fellow), Hannah Skeates (IFB Business Fellow), Andy Bennett (Growth Studio), and Umer Gupta (Calterra). Chaired by Robyn Owen.

1150    Spotlights – IFB Researchers throw light onto their projects with five short presentations - Tamara Spivey (F1) – Stakeholder views on green finance, Jimena Alvarez (F2) – Evidence review on the financial effects of nature-related risks, Axel Rossberg (F3) - Expert consensus on 'Species' metrics for TNFD, Ben Groom (T1) – Pricing Biodiversity Risk: Evidence from Earnings Conference Calls, Fergus Lyon (T2) – Nature-positive agri-food and  textile business and their financing.

 

1230    Lunch – 60 mins

 

1330    Open Space Technology Session Pt I - IFB KE Fellow Dougal Fleming will lead a vibrant, interactive session that addresses two questions: 1) What does each delegate wish to see as a key output of IFB, and 2) What recommendations should we make to Government policy makers, Canary Wharf financiers, NERC project managers and applicable NGOs (wildlife trusts / GFI etc)?

1520    Open Space Technology Session Pt II - Conclusions and recommendations.

1540    Fireside chat – Life after IFB - Flagship and Theme Leaders are joined by Ruth Waters, Director of Evidence, Natural England and member of Programme Executive Group (PEG) to chat with Nick Isaac about what lies beyond December 2026.

1645    End-of-day networking - We have a section of the bar reserved at The White Hart which is a 10-minute walk along Whitechapel Road from the Conference venue. This may be particularly attractive to those with off-peak rail tickets.
