Symposium is 4 - 7pm on 29th January 2026

IFB KE Fellow, Dr Laura Harrison, of the University of York is co-leading a workshop on Framework fatigue: What you actually need to know about counting climate and nature. This is part of the University of York Green Skills Symposium on the 29th January 4 - 7pm.

The symposium is a free event aimed at sustainability professionals to discuss building capacity for sustainable growth, to network and discuss links with the University.

Laura will include her IFB work, sharing a case study on developing indicators to support investment opportunities in nature positive outcomes on solar farms. This work is part of the Finance and Investment in Nature positive Energy Collaboration.  The case study will be about 5-10 minutes within a broader overview of climate and nature disclosure frameworks and there will be a chance for participants to reflect on their company's pathway to adopting TNFD recommendations.

Laura will also lead discussions with participants that will contribute towards the development of Continuing Professional Development offers, including the resource about nature-related metrics and renewable energy that she is developing as part of her IFB-funded fellowship.

"I'm looking forward to discussing the opportunities and challenges around nature disclosures with a wide range of organisations and learning more about their Continuing Professional Development needs."
