A key project within IFB Phase II

IFB Partners, the University of Portsmouth and the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, are making a significant contribution to the Reconnecting the Seascape Symposium and Workshop on 4 - 5 June. IFB is a co-funder of the event.

The Seacape Restoration and Research Network is key project within IFB Phase II, and the symposium and workshop are integral to delivering its outputs.

IFB researchers will present work that has built on Phase I - developing high quality marine natural capital markets - and on Day 3 will run a workshop to revise the Standards of Ecological Restoration for marine systems to align indicators of recovery against climate and biodiversity policy goals, and to be suitable for gathering evidence for natural capital markets.

The agenda for the Symposium, which is an endorsed action of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, is available here.
