The Integrating Finance and Biodiversity Programme will bring together researchers, finance-sector professionals and partners in London on 3 December 2026 for its end-of-Programme Conference.
Held at Central Hall Westminster, the event will mark the culmination of nearly four years of research, collaboration, and innovation focused on mobilising private investment for nature recovery.
The day will showcase the Programme's key findings, practical tools, and real-world impacts, while looking ahead to how the knowledge and partnerships developed through IFB can continue to influence finance, policy, and research.
Programme Leader, Nick Isaac said,
“Over the past four years, IFB has brought together an extraordinary range of expertise from research, finance, business and policy around a shared challenge: how we mobilise private finance for nature recovery. This conference is an opportunity to celebrate what that collaboration has achieved, share what we have learned, and demonstrate how those insights can make a difference in the real world.”
The conference will open with a high-level, finance-sector-focused roundtable, followed by sessions exploring the Programme's impacts and outputs and a panel discussion. The afternoon will turn to the scientific progress made across IFB, before considering future scientific directions and introducing the Programme's policy document that will be launched at a Parliamentary Reception later the same evening.
Alongside the formal programme, the conference will provide an important final opportunity for delegates from across the IFB community to strengthen existing partnerships and establish new collaborations, helping to ensure that the Programme's work has a lasting legacy beyond its formal conclusion.

IFB has developed new knowledge, practical tools and, just as importantly, relationships between people and organisations that didn't exist before. Our ambition for this conference is not simply to look back at what we have achieved, but to ask how we build on it and ensure that IFB leaves a lasting legacy for nature, finance and research.”
IFB Programme Conference 2026 takes place at Central Hall Westminster, Storey's Gate, London, on Thursday 3 December 2026, from 9.00am to 4.45pm.
